NTU “KhPI” was visited by representatives of Estonian company “Finesta” – CEO Martin Mägi, International Project Manager Edwin Prymak, recruitment specialist Julia Silins.

The two-day visit involved negotiations with the university management, familiarization with the activities of the university, meeting with students of the Polytechnic.

Following the results of the delegation’s stay in KHPI, an agreement on cooperation in organizing international programs for students abroad was concluded.

On the first day of the visit to the NTU “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” there was a meeting with the management of the university – Vice-rector of NTU “KhPI” Gennady Khripunov, director of the Career Center of NTU “KHPI” Elena Mochalova, deputy department of international relations of the university Oleksandrom. Questions were discussed about the possibility for students of 5 courses of KHPI to pass their internships at EU enterprises with further employment, as well as a plan of cooperation for the future.

The second day started with a meeting of Finesta representatives with the directors of institutes and deans of KHPI faculties. They talked about the activities of their company, partners, opportunities to practice at enterprises for students of Polytechnic, discussed a number of other issues. Subsequently, representatives of an Estonian company talked to undergraduate polytechnics who are studying in technical fields.

Following the visit, NTU “KhPI” and “Finesta” have signed an agreement providing for joint organization of international programs abroad for students. The goal is to help integrate young people into the world of educational space, to help students consolidate theoretical knowledge in practice, to gain experience in managing economies in advanced economies, to master advanced technologies, to study the use of modern technology and to acquire practical skills in working with it.
